Terry Lynn "Bud" Semrad, 67, Waukomis resident, was born on September 15, 1952 in Parsons, Kansas and passed away on May 5, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma. He was a devoted Christian. In his earlier years he is well remembered for being an extremely talented musician. He graduated from Enid High school and went on to college studying music. Although he did not seek out a professional music career, he always kept his love for music and taught his only son his very first guitar note. He decided to dedicate himself to building homes for his career. He also helped build the dam at Kaw Lake. He enjoyed the outdoors, growing vegetables, hunting, fishing and many cookouts with his family. Terry was meticulous with his gardening, resulting in all vegetables coming out perfectly. He definitely had a talent of the green thumb. He loved teaching his son how to hunt and fish. Later in life he enjoyed going fishing with his son and grandchildren. On his most recent fishing trip with his son and youngest grandson (age 7), he got to see everyone catch a fish before him. Towards the end of the day, while packing up to leave, Terry caught the biggest fish of the day. He was preceded in death by his father Edward and his mother Gloria.
He is survived by his son, Joe and wife Tanya, of Enid. Grandchildren Ebin, Atreyu and Trisity. Also his three brothers : Lee and wife Sharon, of Enid, Larry and wife Debbie, of Enid, Gary and wife Sandy, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
