Thelma Lois Webster, 91, was born November 6th, 1929, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, the third child of Lonnie and Edith Mae Johnson. She passed peacefully on February 10th, 2021, in Alexandria, Virginia, at home with her daughter Debbi by her side.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel.
Growing up, Lois spent her days playing basketball where she was the captain of the team. She also worked in her parents' diner.
On October, 16th, 1960, Lois married the love of her life, Rawleigh Webster in Wichita, Kansas. Together with their daughter Debbi, they explored most of the United States, even living for a time in Anchorage, Alaska, where Lois worked as a mail carrier. In 1969, the young family decided to settle in Enid, Oklahoma. Shortly thereafter, Rawleigh started his roofing company, Webster Roofing. Lois was the bookkeeper for the business. Lois and her husband were active members of the Shiners Club, and Lois was Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. The couple retired in 2001. Rawleigh and Lois celebrated 51 happy years together until his passing in 2012.
In 2015, Lois and Debbi moved to North Carolina to be closer to her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. In 2016, the whole family moved to Virginia, where Lois spent her days playing with her dog Kujo and her great-grandbabies.
Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband Rawleigh; her parents; three brothers, Floyd Johnson, Johnny Johnson, and Charles Johnson; and an infant sister, Barbara Alene Johnson.
Lois is survived by her beloved sister Gilson Ruth Morris of Purcell, Oklahoma; daughter Debbi Fuller of Alexandria, Virginia; granddaughter Ashton Friedman and husband Brett of Burke, Virginia; great-granddaughters Savannah, Emma, and Adelin; as well as many nephews and their families.
