Torran Compala Obituary

Torran Christopher Compala, born February 23rd, 1989 in Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away on June 17th, 2021 at home with family by his side at the age of 32. Beloved son of Sandi Jones and Evan Compala of Ponca City, Oklahoma. L-dxcv Torran grew up in Ponca City and graduated a PC Wildcat. Torran was extremely gifted and excelled in both academics and athletics. As a PC Wildcat he was prominent in Wrestling, Baseball, and Football. A proud supporter of anything OSU. Go Pokes! Other favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves, Dallas Cowboys, and OKC Thunder. He was an assistant coach for both baseball and football. Torran enjoyed everything outdoors. He loved playing disc golf with family and friends, fishing, bow fishing, riding on the airboat, camping, and geocache. He loved nature and all that comes with it. Torran self-taught many instruments including the guitar, drums, and most recently piano. His passions were singing and music, his favorite band being The Beatles. His hobbies include writing poems, music, photography, painting, and cooking, but what he loved most was getting together with family for game nights. His love for family, friends, and animals was unsurmountable. Torran was proud of his Native American Heritage, in both the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations. Torran worked as Director of Operations at NLB Trucking, assisted at NLBB Bail Bonds, and recently received his license in process serving. Torran is preceded in death by Grandparents, Joel and Gladys Compala, cousin Casey Compala, Aunt Marla (Sue) Larssen, and niece Paislee Grace Burr. He is survived by his Mother, Sandi Jones (Steve Corn), Father, Evan Compala (Teena Stone), Brothers: Tyler Compala, Brady Burr, Coby Burr, Noah Corn, and Donavan Corn. Sisters: Heaven Compala and Shayne Compala. Nieces and Nephews, Kinzey, Ryan, Luke, Harper, Liam, and Nash. Grandmother Sunday Steketee and Grandfather Gary Lohff, as well as his adopted cats Cosmo, Batman, and Ghost.A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26th, 2021, 2:00 pm at Central Baptist Church, 1732 East Coleman Rd, Ponca City, Ok. 74604. Graveside service following at Resthaven Sunset Memorial Park, 1901 E Hubbard Rd, Ponca City, Ok. 74604. Dinner will be served at Central Baptist Church at 4pm for the family only. Please make any charitable contributions on Torrans behalf to the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society 900 W.
