Virgie Laferne Goad, 62, Enid resident, was born on April 13, 1957 in Enid, the daughter of John and Laferne Shoemaker Dodd, and passed away on January 27, 2020 in Enid. She was raised and educated in Enid. Virgie worked many years until becoming a full-time homemaker. Survivors include Terril Williams of the home; daughter, Haley Clark of Enid; four grandchildren;, Brookelyn McCartney, Katelyn McCartney, Clayton McCartney, and Dakota Clark; sisters, Vecita Goss of Indiana, Carolyn Neff of Kansas City.
