William Gregory Obituary

William Floyd Gregory, of Pawhuska, was born May 5, 1936 in Bristow, Okla to Floyd and Bertha (Dawson) Gregory. He passed away peacefully at his home Friday March 12, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He served in the United States Air Force from April 9, 1956 to April 8, 1960. He drove a truck for various companies. He helped haul in rock for Kaw Dam. He worked for Sober Brothers, Sullivan Trucking, J.B. Tank, Bob Smith Propane, Max Well Service and Davis Sanitation. His first marriage was to Edna Tipton and her daughter Linda Sue. Whom he loved as his own. They later divorced. On April 2, 1973 he married Ethel Nelson and daughter Stacy Lynne. He later adopted Stacy. They had four more daughters Lucille, Christy, Billie and Roni. His family grew and he was so proud of all of them. He finally got his sons he always wanted, Jeremy (Christy) Woods, Max (Billie) Glendenning and Anakin (Roni) Bryan. Also, two partners Eric (Stacy) Looper and Cinnamon (Lucille) Prather. Nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister Rosie Ailey. He enjoyed family get togethers and watching the grandkids and son in laws wrestle. He loved fishing with his brother and taking his girls fishing and camping when they were young. Also, Sunday drives and driving the backroads or weekend road trips to wherever he ended up. He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd Gregory and Bertha (Dawson) Gregory, one sister Ruby Hatch, and one brother Vester Gregory. A memorial dinner will be held April 17th, 2021 at the Morrison Community Building on highway 64 at 1 pm.
