Alma (Almerth) and Family,

We continue to pray God's blessings of peace and comfort for you, during this time of bereavement; for we too are bereaved at the passing of our dear brother. Darrell was a great man and a fun-loving brother of the New Sunny Mount Family, of which I was a member when you and Darrell were in St. Louis. We were both in the Male Chorus and had fun in our baritone section. Darrell was cool! We joked a lot, but got the job done! Darrell also sang with the renowned NSM Chancel Choir. He had a voice quality that I simply did not possess.

As you are aware, Darrell was a great man of God. So, we remind you that, through all you endure in life, even for a time such as this, please know that God is with you and He will comfort your hearts and grant you His peace, when you place your trust in Him.

We shall forever remember our brother. We celebrate with you his life and his legacy. Again, may God forever bless you, comfort you and keep you safe in His care.

Humbly Submitted in the Love of Christ,
Clyde

Darrell was truly a class act. It was a pleasure having the privilege to have worked with him and be considered his friend.
Al you and the family or in our prayers

I was so sorry to hear about Darrell's passing, It's been many years since I lived in Independence, but I remember him. We were in the same class, as well as being friends in the community. My brother Gayle Anderson and I send our sympathy. If for some reason the family doesn't recognize the name, we are Beverly Jacobs' oldest children. Our brothers Fred Anderson and Artie Carroll have also passed. Prayers for Darrell's family are sent your way.

Even though we've only known Darrell & Alma for a little over 2 years, we've shared a kindred spirit. Darrell was always smiling, happy and positive. After being with him for just a short time we'd leave feeling good that we knew him. May God continue to bless Alma and the entire family.
