Don was a great influence in my life. He and I met in Columbia, Missouri, in the late 60s through his shop, AutoSport. His influence got me back into motorsports and his humor, affability and wonderful spirit has kept him in my memories all these years. We did keep in some kind of loose tough through what now seek like annual phone calls.
My condolences to all of Don't family - I do understand how you all must miss him.
