I first met Gerald from the Police Department when he worked with my husband. Of course sometimes he called me Mrs Hobby which my kids thought was funny. I'm going to miss seeing you out and about and your hug. Sending prayers for comfort to the David family. I'm thinking about you all.

I worked a great deal with Gerald when he was Capt of Records and always sat in on our court days and he will be truly missed. A really great guy and his wife and family are in my prayers.

Gerald will always be remembered by our family for his quick smile, sharp wit, and love for people. He always had great stories to tell and told them often!! Sue and Gerald were both avid hunters and he would always have an excuse as to why Sue bagged a deer and he didn't. He will be missed greatly.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have so many great memories of hunting and fishing at your place. One that always makes me laugh is when I went out with mom and we were up in the crook of a tree facing each other. We kept looking at each other and just laughing. We were about to climb down out of the tree because we were so loud there couldn't have been a deer within a mile of us when a bird dropping landed on mom's shoulder. We laughed so hard we cried. I'm pretty sure that was the last time I went out with mom before she had her deer.

I too remember the white corvette and the rides. You were quite the prankster along with Uncle Milt when I was little. I think I was 4 or 5 when you pranked me with fake vomit. I couldn't figure out where it went when I went to get something to clean it up. I remember you both just laughing, and I smile when I remember it. You also told me one time when we were having tornados that a tornado would come to do door and suck me away when I went to the door!! Those are just two of the many memories I have about you!!! Love you and my thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time!!

My greatest memory of you is when you were on the police department and would come by grandma David's and gave us a ride in your white corvette. You always had a different car. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
