Tex Ginger passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Alliance Health Center in Ponca City, OK.  He was born on January 26, 1944, to Lester M Ginger Sr. and Geraldine Louise Cross in Port Neches, Texas.  He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1962.  On July 3rd, 1969 he married Patricia Sue Brown.  He and Sue had 2 daughters Victoria Diane and Meagan Leigh. 

He was employed by Oklahoma Natural Gas for 35 years retiring in 2004.  His hobbies over the years have included horses, fishing, trap shooting, camping and visiting with friends. 

He is survived by his wife Sue, daughters Vicki (Darren) Courtney of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Meagan (Ryan) Zulauf of Arenzville, IL, father-in-law Cletus Brown of Ponca City, sister-in-law Shirley Brown of Webb City, Ok, and nephews Chad and Chris Brown and families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Trudy Flesher, brother-in-laws Jimmie Flesher and Jerry Brown, niece Ginger Flesher, and mother-in-law Mary Helen Brown. 

A time of remembering and visiting is planned for Monday, November 28th, 2016 at the family’s home in Ponca City OK from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  There will be no formal services. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
